Once again Iran has voiced its determination to defy the United Nations Security Council, vowing to press ahead with plans to expand its nuclear program.
 
'Iran does not trade its rights in return for incentives,' said government spokesman Gholam-Hossein Elham in response to an EU offer of further talks with Tehran. 'The Islamic Republic of Iran doesn't need incentives from Europe to obtain its rights.'

Iran: Young man hanged in Isfahan

IRAN NEWS PRISONER HANGEDNCRI- The Iranian regime has hanged a man in the central city of Isfahan, state-run news agency Fars reported Tuesday.

The prisoner was only identified as Hassan M. aged 21.  His execution was carried out after the sentence was approved by the mullah’s Supreme Court, the news agency said.

Iran: Students protest against using surveillance cameras in Mazandaran University

National Council of Resistance of IranNCRI- On Sunday, students protested against installation of surveillance cameras on the campus of Mazandaran University south of the Caspian Sea.
 
Students petitioning against installation of the monitoring devices on the university campus clashed with the school's security guards. The chief of the security at Mazandaran University threatened the protesters with hauling them before the school's disciplinary committee.

Iran: Drivers face 74 lashes for traffic violations

News: Drivers Lashed in IranNCRI – Iranian regime's traffic police chief said the drivers in Iran found guilty of violating traffic laws could be sentenced to 74 lashes or several months in jail, official new agency IRNA reported on Tuesday.

Brig. Mohammad Rouyanian said, “violators will be referred to court for disrupting public order and the court can sentence them from three months to a year in jail or 74 lashes."

Iran: Four prisoners hanged in Kerman

Iran Execution, HangedNCRI - The mullahs' inhuman regime hanged four prisoners -- not naming them -- in the prison yard in the central city of Kerman, reported the official news agency IRNA on Monday.

Hanging of 10 prisoners in a week is a sign of a sudden increase in the number of executions after a lull. The ruling clerical regime in its faltering state turns to more suppressive measures against the Iranian people.

Iran: Ahmadinejad's mentor warns against the danger of new generation

NCRI- Mohammad-Taghi Mesbah Yazdi, known as Ahmadinejad’s mentor, in a speech let out his fear of new generation’s hatred of the regime, the state-run media reported on Saturday.

Mesbah Yazdi, a member of mullahs’ Assembly of Experts speaking in Qom's school of Theology in, the holy city of Qom, said that since the “traditional and old customs” are not included in bringing up the young, the “new generation is in danger.”
