NCRI - Seven hundred bakery workers walked out on Saturday over low pay in the northwestern city of Sanandaj.
The workers have threatened to stop baking unless the government meets their pay rise demands. Over 450 workers signed a petition calling for action by the government by next Wednesday. |

NCRI - The mullahs' Supreme Court upheld an earlier death sentence by a lower court for three Kurdish political activists Farzad Kamangar, Ali Heidarian and Farhad Vakili on Friday. The three were first arrested on April 2006 and tried in the lower court in February 2007.
The three political prisoners have been tortured repeatedly while in jail in the past three years. |

NCRI - On June 29, Parliamentarians and dignitaries from Britain, Canada, Australia, and Italy met with Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance at her residence in Auvers-sur-Oise.
She expressed her delight over the great victory achieved in Britain where finally the Parliament ratified the order to remove the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) from the UK proscribed list and praised the efforts of the British parliamentarians in this campaign. She also underscored the urgency of getting the PMOI (MEK) out of the EU list. |

NCRI-The Iranian regime publically hanged four people in Borazjan, southern Boushehr province, on Thursday July 10, reported “Khalij Fars” provincial News Agency.
The public hangings were carried out after the mullahs' judiciary chief, Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi, announced last February that "The death penalty should be carried out behind closed doors." He also banned television footages and publication of photographs of executions. |

NCRI - A photo on the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Website distributed Wednesday by Agence France-Presse showed four missiles launched simultaneously. That photo appeared on various Web sites Wednesday, including those of the New York Times and BBC News, and on the front pages of a number of newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times and the Chicago Tribune.
The Associated Press and Reuters distributed similar photos, but they showed only three missiles. |

NCRI - A large number of Iranians residing in France held a rally outside the European Parliament in Strasbourg on Thursday, July 10, and called for rule of law and immediate removal of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) from the EU terror list.
The protestors reiterated that following the United Kingdom decision to remove the PMOI from its list of proscribed organizations on June 23 in compliance with the rulings of the British Courts and the order of the Parliament, maintaining the PMOI in the EU terror list is absolutely unlawful. The UK government was the only one that sought to include the PMOI in the EU terror list. |
