No to Ahmadinejad, yes to democracy in Iran

Iranians deomonstrating in GothenburgNCRI – Iranians and supporters of the Iranian Resistance in Gothenburg, Sweden, staged a demonstration on Thursday to condemn Ahmadinejad’s recent terrorizing comments and clerical regime’s meddling in Iraq.

Demonstrators were particularly concerned over the threats posed by the Iranian regime’s agents in Iraq against Camp Ashraf, where members of the People’s Mojahedin of Iran, main Iranian opposition, are residing.

UN General Assembly condemns human rights violations in Iran

UN General AssemblyMrs. Maryam Rajavi: Resolution underlines need to refer clerical regime's human rights violations to the UN Security Council

NCRI - The UN General Assembly passed a resolution today condemning the brutal and continued violations of human rights in Iran with 75 votes in favor. The resolution strongly condemns the continuing use of torture and cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, continued carrying out of public executions, and, on a large scale, other executions, and, in particular, deplores the execution of persons who were below 18 years of age at the time their offence was committed, and also continued violations of freedom of assembly, opinion and expression, violations of the rights of women and religious and ethnic minorities. The resolution was approved despite the clerical regime's use of all its diplomatic resources, with assistance from a number of other state violators of human rights, to prevent a vote on the measure.

Arrest Iranian regime's interior minister in Greece for crimes against humanity - NCRI

Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi, the Iranian regime’s interior ministerNCRI - The Iranian Resistance called on the Greek government and judiciary to arrest Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi, the Iranian regime's interior minister, who is one of the key officials involved in the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in 1988. Pour-Mohammadi is currently in Athens to attend the Conference on Illegal Immigration and Human Trafficking.

US commander accuses Iran of meddling in Iraq

General George CaseyNCRI - US top commander in Baghdad accused Iran of meddling in Iraq's elections.

Speaking to reporters via video-link from Baghdad on Friday, General George Casey, who commands US forces in Iraq, said: "I don't have hard, smoking gun-type evidence, but the intelligence we have tells us they invested heavily in political parties supportive of Iran in the south."

Supporters of the Iranian Resistance marching in the HagueNCRI – Marching with torches in their hands in front the Dutch parliament yesterday, supporters of the Iranian Resistance condemned Ahmadinejad’s repugnant remarks in recent days and mullahs’ meddling in Iraq.

The marchers condemned human rights violations in Iran and the terrorist threats to Iraq, in particular to the Camp Ashraf where members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran reside.

German lawmakers unanimously reject Iranian president's remarks

German BundestagNCRI - Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s remarks about Israel.were rejected by all German political parties represented in the Bundestag in a joint statement issued on Friday.

The German deputies condemned mullahs’ president’s comments on the Holocaust and  Israel’s relocation as "totally unacceptable" and "incompatible with the norms of the international community and the history of the 20th and 21st century."

Mohammad Mohaddessin, chairman of the National Council of Resistance of Iran' s foreign affairs committeeBloomberg - Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran's spiritual leader and highest authority, fully supports recent anti-Israeli comments by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, an exiled Iranian resistance group said.

``Contrary to what some say in the West, there are no differences between Ahmadinejad and Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei,'' said Mohammad Mohaddessin, chairman of the National Council of Resistance of Iran' s foreign affairs committee. ``All of Ahmadinejad's positions, including his stance on Israel, had the full backing of Khamenei.''

Iran regime's meddling in Iraq's elections unveiled in London conference

London Westminster conference on mullahs' meddling in IraqNCRI - In a conference on Thursday in London’s Westminster Hall, Hossein Abedini, member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran revealed the Iranian regime’s plots to rig ballots in Iraqi elections. This includes the preparation of tens of thousands of pre-completed ballots in ballot boxes to be substituted for cast votes. The clerical regime had also disptched tens of thousands of Iranians to Iraq to vote using false identification documents.

Iran: 9 hangings and death sentences in 6 days

ImageAccording to state-run daily Jomhouri Islami yesterday, three men were sentenced to death in Qom (south of Tehran) on drug trafficking charges. The daily Hamshahri also reported that the regime's Supreme Court had upheld death sentences for three young men on Thursday and a woman and a man on Wednesday.

Official news agency, ISNA, also reported on Saturday, December 10, that a man was hanged in the Evin prison in Tehran.
