NCRI – Iran-backed Vice President of Iraq assured Tehran of measures
against the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI).
In reference to the state of the PMOI in Iraq, the state-run Persian daily
Javan quoted Adel Abdul Mahdi, Vice President of Iraq assuring the
mullahs, “that this group will not stay in Iraq and we will expel them
from Iraq and those people in this group who are found to have
committed crimes will be brought to justice.”

NCRI - Tehran's increasing meddling in Iraq and the latest developments
concerning the Iranian dissidents at Camp Ashraf was discussed in a
meeting by the U.S. Committee for Camp Ashraf Residents (USCCAR) in
Washington D.C. at the National Press Club on Wednesday, November 30.
USCCAR monitors and reports on the humanitarian status of the residents
of Camp Ashraf, based in Diyala province northeast of Baghdad, Iraq.
The camp belongs to the main Iranian opposition group, the People's
Mojahedin Organization of Iran, and is currently under protection of
the Multinational Forces - Iraq.

NCRI – Supporters of the Iranian Resistance in Trondheim, northern
Norway, went out on streets in sub-zero temperature to protest against
mullahs’ persistent efforts to acquire nuclear weapons.
Iranians as well as Norwegians joined the rally on Saturday, November
26, to call on the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), to refer
mullahs’ nuclear file to the UN Security Council for adoption of an oil
embargo on the fundamentalist regime in Iran.

NCRI - The clerical leaders in Iran appear more determined than ever to resist Western pressure over their disputed nuclear drive, raising the question of what any new talks with the European Union could actually achieve, reported AFP. Britain, France and Germany are still hoping to convince mullahs to limit work on the nuclear fuel cycle as an "objective guarantee" the process will not be diverted to make weapons. Their offer of trade and other incentives has already been rejected.

NCRI – In a symposium of parliamentarians & jurists in the House of
Lords on November 29, where some 30 pre-eminent Parliamentarians and
jurists addressed the symposium, Baroness Harris of Richmond from the
Liberal Democratic Party of Great Britain made the following remarks:
Over recent decades, the Iranian people have fought for freedom,
democracy, social justice and equality, first against the Shah’s
dictatorship and more recently against the mullahs’ theocracy.

NCRI - An international rogatory letter has been issued for the
interrogation of Abolghasem Mesbahi, former manager of the Iranian
information service in France, reported AGI, Italian news agency
yesterday.
This has been requested by Judge Franco Ionta at Rome's first court of
Assizes, where the trial for murder of Mohammed Hussein Naghdi,
representative of the Iranian Resistance killed in March 1993, is
taking place.

NCRI – “Groups affiliated to the Iranian regime have plans to
manipulate the result of upcoming elections in December in Iraq,” said
Jean-Pierre Lano, General Secretary of the Swiss association for
education, training and freedom in a rally in Geneva.
The groups plan to use forged ballots or force people to vote for their
list of candidates, Lano said and added that they would in the next
stage swap the sealed ballot boxes with the ones filled with favorable
ballots previously.
