By JENNY BARCHFIELD Source: The Associated Press PARIS (AP) — Thousands of supporters of an Iranian opposition group called on the European Union and the United States to remove the organization from terror blacklists at a massive rally Saturday outside Paris.
The Paris-based National Council Resistance of Iran [NCRI] — an umbrella group that includes the blacklisted People's Mujahedeen of Iran, or PMOI [MEK] — held the rally at an exhibition center in the northern Villepinte suburb just days after Britain removed PMOI [MEK]from its list of banned terror groups. |

The clerical regime's media announced today that Mr. Ali Dabaq, as the spokesman of the Iraqi government, has repeated his previous claim to expel the residents of Ashraf City, members of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), from Iraq.
This is a clear reflection of hysterical pressures on the Iraqi government by the religious fascism ruling Iran and its embassy in Baghdad aimed to avenge the PMOI because of the rejection of the Iranian regime by three million Iraqi Shiites. |

NCRI - More than 2,000 residents of Poonak district in west Tehran took to streets on Friday protesting to the regime's plundering polices.
Citizens from all walks of life such as workers, teachers and students took part in the demonstration. Shortly after the start of the move the State Security Forces (SSF) – mullahs' suppressive police – clashed with the crowd wounding some and arresting 10 others. |

NCRI - On Tuesday workers of the state-owned Haft Tappeh Sugar Cane Company in southwestern Khuzistan province near the city of Shoush, staged a protest to demand their unpaid salaries and called for an end to the harassment of their co-workers.
More than 2,000 workers of the company demonstrated in front of its management offices. The protesters did not permit the company’s deputy manager to enter his office. |

NCRI – Iranian regime arrests and tortures families of members of the main Iranian opposition group, the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) for meeting their relatives in Iraq, the PMOI said in a statement on Tuesday, April 1.
In recent months, there have been widespread arrests of families of PMOI members who had visited their relatives in Ashraf City, home to thousands of members of PMOI in northeast of Baghdad, Iraq, the statement added. |
