Bloomberg, August 18 - Iran has continued to produce centrifuges, which are used in the uranium enrichment process, in contravention of a November 2004 agreement with the U.K., France and Germany to suspend all such activities, the exiled opposition National Council for Resistance in Iran said.

Hossein Abedini, member of NCRI Foreign Affairs CommitteeAssociated Press, London, August 18 - Iran has manufactured thousands of centrifuges capable of enriching uranium to weapons grade in a covert nuclear program, an Iranian dissident group said Thursday.

The National Council of Resistance of Iran said the Iranian regime was working round the clock to build centrifuges and was storing thousands already constructed in warehouses belonging to the defense ministry and Revolutionary Guard in Tehran and Isfahan.

A week after the second round of presidential elections in Iran, the Supreme National Security Council of Iran submitted a report to the office of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, entitled "An appraisal of two years of nuclear talks with the European powers".

Alireza JaafarzadehVIENNA, Austria (AP) August 9 — Iran has manufactured about 4,000 centrifuges capable of enriching uranium to weapons grade, an exiled Iranian dissident who helped uncover nearly two decades of covert nuclear activity in 2002 said Tuesday.

Alireza Jafarzadeh told The Associated Press the centrifuges — which he said are unknown to the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency — are ready to be installed at Iran's nuclear facility in Natanz.

Jafarzadeh, who runs Strategic Policy Consulting, a Washington-based think tank focusing on Iran and Iraq, said the information — which he described as "very recent" — came from sources within the Tehran regime who have proven accurate in the past.

Farid Soleimani, member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the NCRI, called on the international community to adopt a decisive policy vis-à-vis the clerical regime in Iran and its referral to the UN Security Council.

PARIS, July 28 (Reuters) - Iran has been using front companies to import a type of steel that can be used for the casing of a nuclear bomb and for machines that can enrich uranium to weapons-grade, an exile group said on Thursday.

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) said the country was seeking to produce its own maraging steel and skirt international export controls by importing it.
