Bloomberg, August 18 - Iran has continued to produce centrifuges, which are used in the uranium enrichment process, in contravention of a November 2004 agreement with the U.K., France and Germany to suspend all such activities, the exiled opposition National Council for Resistance in Iran said.

"A controlled and limited crisis with the IAEA and the West over the nuclear program will be to our advantage and will enable us to compel them to significantly raise the concessions" - Appraisal

A week after the second round of presidential elections in Iran, the Supreme National Security Council of Iran submitted a report to the office of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, entitled "An appraisal of two years of nuclear talks with the European powers".
The principal points in the conclusions of the report, a copy of which was obtained by the NCRI, were as follows:

VIENNA, Austria (AP) August 9 — Iran has manufactured about 4,000 centrifuges capable of enriching uranium to weapons grade, an exiled Iranian dissident who helped uncover nearly two decades of covert nuclear activity in 2002 said Tuesday.

Alireza Jafarzadeh told The Associated Press the centrifuges — which he said are unknown to the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency — are ready to be installed at Iran's nuclear facility in Natanz.

Jafarzadeh, who runs Strategic Policy Consulting, a Washington-based think tank focusing on Iran and Iraq, said the information — which he described as "very recent" — came from sources within the Tehran regime who have proven accurate in the past.

Fresh information on Iranian regime’s efforts to acquire nuclear weapons was unveiled by the National Council of Resistance of Iran in a press conference in Vienna on Monday, August 8, on the eve of a special session of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Farid Soleimani, member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the NCRI, called on the international community to adopt a decisive policy vis-à-vis the clerical regime in Iran and its referral to the UN Security Council.
