CRAWFORD, Texas (AFP) — US President George W. Bush on Saturday told his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that he must "stop exporting terror" on the eve of the Iranian leader's first visit to Iraq.
Ahmadinejad hopes his historic visit to Iraq on Sunday will mark a major step in strengthening ties between Iran and its conflict-torn western neighbor.

He was addressing a room full of government analysts, scholars and journalists Wednesday, and when asked about Iran's current influence in Afghanistan, the joking stopped. "Iran has become a more and more hostile power," he said.

By: Reza Shafa Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and its surrogate the Qods Force are busy these days expanding their warmongering strategy to Afghanistan using the mess they have already made in Iraq as a tested positive blueprint.
In a classified report leaked out of security apparatus in the mullahs' regime, the IRGC made a proposal to the Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, outlining the ways in which the newly Afghan army may be infiltrated and later manipulated by the Iranian regime's Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) and other terrorist networks working for the IRGC-QF in the country. The recommendation clearly stresses the need for the IRGC and MOIS operatives to recruit Afghan soldiers for Taliban group.

NCRI - Iranian regime has ordered a group of agents affiliated to the terrorist Qods Force in the town of Khalis, in Diyala Province of Iraq - to carry out a missile attack on Ashraf City - the People's Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI/MEK) said in a statement on Tuesday.
The statement by PMOI follows the explosion of Asharf City's water pumping station on Friday and extensive activities by agents of Iranian regime in Iraq to set the grounds for terrorist operations against Ashraf City, home to members of PMOI in Iraq.

NCRI - Iraqi Political parties and parliamentarians condemned the bombing of the water pumping station of the Ashraf City, home to the members of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), located in Diyala province, Iraqi TV Channel al-Rafidain TV reported on Sunday.
"The crime is in clear violation of Iraq's sovereignty and security which has stemmed from the inaction in respect with the Iranian regime's meddling in Iraq," the report added.

BAGHDAD, Feb 3 (Reuters) - Attacks using Iranian-made roadside bombs in a key part of Baghdad rose in January to the highest level in a year, the U.S. military said on Sunday.
Washington has accused Tehran of supplying Shi'ite militias in Iraq with sophisticated weapons, including armour-piercing roadside bombs known as explosively formed penetrators (EFPs), to attack U.S. troops. Tehran denies the allegation.

Azerbaijan (Azeri Press Agency) - Iran has not commented on Azerbaijan's facts proving links of Said's gang to Iranian intelligence bodies, spokesman for Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Khazar Ibrahim said, APA reports. He said that necessary measures will be taken after Iran gives answer.
National Security Ministry had issued a statement that Said Dadashbayli's gang had links to Iranian intelligence bodies. After that, Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan Nasir Hamid Zare was called to Foreign Ministry and Deputy Foreign Minister Vagif Sadikhov presented the diplomat the facts proving it.

WASHINGTON (AFP) — A top US military commander said Wednesday he fears a "disastrous" linkup between drug traffickers and radical Islamists in Latin America, where he said Iran wields growing influence.
"I fear greatly that the connectivity between narcoterrorism and Islamic radical terrorism could be disastrous in this region," Admiral James Stavridis, head of the US Southern Command, told a conference on Latin America.

ZURBITIYAH, Iraq (AFP) — The commander of US forces in Iraq said on Wednesday that Iran was continuing to train militants despite Tehran's pledge to cut all support for the insurgency.
General David Petraeus said he was uncertain if supplies of weapons flowing into Iraq from Iran was decreasing, but said that Iranian training of militants posed a serious threat to Iraq's stability.
