17-year-old boy hanged along nine others in two days in Iran PDF Print E-mail

National Council of Resistance of IranNCRI - Eight young men hanged in Tehran's notorious Evin prison on Wednesday, June 11. Two of them had been in prison for many years.

A 17-year-old boy by the name of Mohammad Hassan-Zadeh was also hanged on Tuesday, June 10, for a crime he had allegedly committed when he was only 14. His sentence was carried out in Sanandaj prison, Iranian Kurdistan in the west. A 60-year-old man by the name of Rahim Pashabadi was hanged along with the young boy in the prison while he was suffering from an ailment.

Iranian Resistance calls for salvage of detained protesters in Zahedan PDF Print E-mail

NCRI - Following demonstrations and clashes which started last Sunday between the Iranian regime's suppressive forces and angry residents in Zahedan, provincial capital of Sistan-Baluchistan in southeast Iran, a large number of people were arrested. Among the detainees there are many young people whose whereabouts and state remain unknown.

The reason behind the angry protest and demonstration, which the regime is trying to blame on division between  Sunnis and Shiites, is the brutal repression of the deprived people in the province and specially the cruel discrimination against the Sunnis.

Iran : Sugar cane factory workers' Protest Gathering attacked by suppressive forces PDF Print E-mail

National Council of Resistance of IranNCRI - The Haft-Tapeh Sugar Cane Factory workers started their sixth week of strike by staging a gathering on Tuesday, June 10. The workers who were demanding their overdue payments and removal of pressures and medieval suppression, chanted “We are Haft-Tapeh workers, we are hungry, we are hungry.”

The suppressive agents of the State Security Forces who feared the determination of the workers resorted to brutal attacks and beat them up.

Iran: 11 prisoners to be hanged on Wednesday PDF Print E-mail

Prisoners Hanged in IranNCRI – Death sentences for 11 prisoners have been reaffirmed by the clerical regime's Supreme Court. They are going to be hanged on Wednesday morning, June 11, the state-run daily Etemad reported today.

Behnoud Shojaee is among those to be hanged on Wednesday who was only 17 at the time of alleged crime. He was saved from being hanged once before when his sentence was suspended for a month.

Iran: Seven thousand brick factory workers walked out in Orumieh PDF Print E-mail

NCRI - More than 7,000 brick factory workers walked out over their low salaries in the northwestern city of Orumieh on Friday.

Brick factories workers in Zarien Khak, Sarv-Jahan and Khamenei factories have also gone on strike over low salaries.

Iran: Two thousand students turned out on day nine of the Teachers' Training School sit-in PDF Print E-mail

National Council of resistance of IranNCRI - Last night, more than 2000 students turnout to mark the ninth day of their sit-in at Teachers' Training School in Karaj some 40 kilometer west of the capital.

The students chanted, "No matter what hardship we face, the movement will continue to the end" and "Students will die but never be humiliated."

NCRI - Last night, more than 3,000 students of the Teachers' Training School held a gathering outside their dormitory protesting to the mullahs' inhuman regime and in support of their fellow students on hunger strike.

Students chanted, "We are fighters, men and women,   Fight us and we will fight," "Students will die but never be humiliated," "We stand and sing to the end" and "Student should not be afraid of security guards."

Iran: More than 3,000 brick factory workers go on strike PDF Print E-mail

National Council of Resistance of IranWorkers in dozens of other factories and workshops walked out over the past month
NCRI - More than 3,000 workers at Qarchak Brick Factory in Varamin, central Iran, have been on strike for the past 26 days.

Thousands of women, men and children working in the factory demand rise in their wage from about $12.5 to $15 for every 1,000 brick they produce.
