NCRI - Brig. Gen. Esmail Ahmadi-Moqadam chief of the State Security Force (SSF) -- the suppressive police – announced new "plans" in the year ahead, the state television reported on Monday.
He stressed on the need for more undercover police tactics to control the public and said, "It is not possible in a society that has the habit of 'seeing is believing' to change that attitude over night. It takes time to move from a completely open police presence to undercover policing. We will do it step by step. However, we move in the direction of more undercover surveillance... We have to first develop the frame work for under cover policing such as surveillance cameras, GPS's, and other techniques." |

Mrs. Rajavi: The clerical regime expedites move towards the nuclear bomb, comprehensive sanctions are imperative and should be implemented immediately
NCRI- Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, described today's remarks by Ahmadinejad on "starting to install 6,000 centrifuges" in Natanz as a clear indication of the clerical regime's accelerating drive to obtain the nuclear bomb. She urged the UN Security Council to adopt a firm policy and to impose comprehensive and immediate sanctions against the regime. |

The mullahs' hand picked school management jumped at an opportunity in the Nowruoz (Iranian New Year holidays) to install hundreds of surveillance cameras on the campus to monitor the students every move. |

NCRI - Nine members of Ahl-e-Haq (a Shiite offshoot adhering to Imam Ali the first Shiite Imam) entered the 9th day of their hunger strike in prison in the northwestern city of Orumieh. They went on strike in protest to being held without any legal justification. Four of them are in critical condition by refusing to even take liquids. |

NCRI - On Saturday, more than 400 laid off workers of Iran-Sadra Shipyard in the southern city of Bushehr ended the 8th day of their ongoing sit-in. The workers are protesting against sudden dismissal from their jobs by the factory's management last month. They have held a sit-in outside the shipyard's administration building.
The protesting workers blocked the main entrance to the facility, other workers did not turn out and many parts of the shipyard are closed down. |

At a time when Ahmadinejad calls for deployment of the regime's entire nuclear capacity following Majlis sham elections, the imposition of comprehensive sanctions against the regime is a necessity far more than before
NCRI - Manouchehr Motaki, the clerical regime's Foreign Minister, in a letter addressed to the United Nations Secretary General, officially rejected implementation of the UN Security Council resolution 1803. He brazenly described the resolution as being "unlawful" and stated that his government would not be "bound to respect or implement" the resolutions. |

NCRI - Brig. Gen. Ismail Ahmadi-Moqadam, chief of the State Security Forces (SSF), stressed that the suppressive plan known as "Boosting Public Security" will be "complemented" and "not abandoned" and suppression in the New Year will intensified.
Speaking to a gathering of border regiment personnel in Paveh, western Iran, he said that people may think "these plans were temporary … the SSF is determined and I promise people that the plan will not be abandoned and it is not going to end under any circumstances and the trend is irreversible," the official news agency IRNA reported on March 26. |
