Iran: Mullahs' hanged a young man after declaring a stay of execution PDF Print E-mail

iran-hanging-noose150NCRI – The mullahs' inhuman regime hanged a 20-year-old man named Reza Hejazi after spreading the news that his execution had been stayed in the central city of Isfahan. Hejazi was 15 at the time of alleged crime.

He was transferred to solitary confinement in preparation for his execution on August 18. However, when his family and attorney went to the prison on Wednesday, they were told that his execution has been stayed.

"Jubilant of the news, his family and I left the prison. But only a few hours latter I learned through the official site of Isfahan prosecutor's office that he was hanged," said his attorney Mohammad Mostafaii in total surprise.

iran-hanging-noose150NCRI- The mullahs' judiciary gave the go ahead for the death sentences of two prisoners who were under 18 at the time of the alleged crimes, the state-run daily Kargozaran reported on Tuesday.

The two are identified as Amir, who was 16 at the time in November of 2005 and Amir Karim who was 17 at the time.

Since 30 years ago there has hardly been any new gas stations built in Tehran. Then, the capital's population was only three million. The figure is 15 million now and it keeps on rising. The gas stations – according to international standards for a city like Tehran – are only 11 percent of what they should be, said Mohammadreza Nematzadeh, the chief executive officer of the Iranian National Oil Refineries.

"All necessary measures have been considered to deal firmly with those individuals not observing the month's [Ramadan] restrictions," reported the state-run news agency Shahr quoting Sajedi as saying on Monday.

In a recent episode of diploma scandal, Ahmadinejad's deputy in legal and parliamentary affairs, Mohammadreza Rahimi's Ph.D. degree is in jeopardy.

"His diploma has been acquired in the same way," said Alireza Zakani a member of mullahs' Majlis (parliament) on Wednesday.

The participants call on the Red Cross officials to prevent a possible handover of the residents' protection from the US military to Iraq.

Iran: Mullahs say they have launched a satellite into space PDF Print E-mail

mullah-rocket150NCRI - Brig. Gen. Mostafa Mohammad Najar, mullahs' defense minister, said, "Iran launched its first domestically made satellite into space" the official news agency IRNA reported on Sunday.

"Omid (hope) satellite was launched on Sunday using the Safir (ambassador) satellite-carrier rocket," IRNA said, quoting a statement from the Iranian regime's defense ministry.
