laleh-park150NCRI – The State Security Forces (SSF) -- mullahs' suppressive police –enforcing the so-called "boosting public security plan" began a massive operation under the pretext of sweeping drug addicts from Laleh Park, one of Tehran's most crowded parks in downtown. The SSF agents crackdown on mostly drug addicts, beating and wounding a number of them. Many were arrested and taken to unknown locations.

LOCAL, national and international figures joined in tribute yesterday to the Liberal Democrat peer Lord Russell-Johnston of Minginish, who died last month.

The former MP and Scottish Liberal Party leader died after collapsing in a Paris street on 27 July, the eve of his 76th birthday.

Iran: Hundreds of teachers protest outside mullahs' Majlis PDF Print E-mail

teachers-strikes150NCRI - Some 1,500 part time teachers gathered outside mullahs' Majlis (parliament) from the western province of Lorestan protesting to contract conditions with the local branch of Ministry of Education.  

A vulnerable part of the country's work force with fixed incomes, the teachers have been protesting to unpaid salaries and contract conditions since last year.

archive-picture-workers150NCRI - This morning, more than 200 protesting workers of Zarbaft Textile Factory of Kurdistan gathered outside social security office in the western city of Sanandaj. 

The participants demanded their unpaid salaries and benefits. The State Security Forces (SSF) – mullahs' suppressive police – fearing the spread of demonstration to other parts of the city cordoned the protesting workers.

The striking workers gathered outside the management office. They demanded that the officials honor their past agreement with the workers' representatives leading to the end of their strike the last time.

Such a suppressive move has caused much hatred for the clerical regime among the local residents. However, judges are backed up by the State Security Forces (SSF) – mullahs' suppressive police -- if the subjects do not comply.

Iran: Torture crippled a prisoner in Kashan PDF Print E-mail

ssf-brutal-beating-iran150NCRI – The mullahs' inhuman regime handcuffed and hanged a prisoner named Mohammadreza Rafiyani, by his arms, from the ceiling of his cell in the central city of Kashan on Thursday.
 
The following morning when his jailers opened the cell, both of his arms were crippled as he was hanged all night long.
