Despite international concerns Iran regime enriches uraniumNCRI - Mullahs' regime declared today that it has successfully enriched uranium to the extent in which it can now make nuclear fuel.

The announcement was made in total defiance of the deadline set by the UN Security Council for the regime to halt all its uranium enrichment related activities by the end of April.

With 15 days left to the UN deadline, Gholamreza Aghazadeh, mullahs' nuclear chief made the announcement in a speech which was broadcast live by the state television.

Observers noted the new development as a sign of the regime's determination to acquire nuclear bomb and do not see any reason for the world community to wait for the deadline as it would not change the situation. They believe that comprehesive sanctions against the regime should be put in place immediately and do not allow the clerics to make use of time to advance with its nuclear program.

Some analysts concluded that today's announcement indicated that the clerical regime had detected a lack of decisiveness on behalf of the world community to deal with its nuclear ambitions.

Earlier today mullahs' president Ahmadinejad told the state tv that the regime is going to join the nuclear club soon.
