NCRI - The leader of the Iranian regime, Ali Khamenei, threatened the United States with terrorist attacks on its interests around the world if Iran was attacked.

His threat today comes just two days before the U.N. nuclear watchdog reports on whether the clerical regime is complying with U.N. demands to halt uranium enrichment.

Khamenei explicitly said: "The Americans must know that if they attacked Iran their interests would be harmed anywhere in the world."

He continued with his threat as reported by the state television saying "The Iranian nation will reciprocate any attack with double the intensity."
