Associated Press - June 24 - Supporters of the National Council
of Resistance of Iran, the political arm of the Mujahedeen Khalq, take
part in a protest near Downing Street in London, which houses the
official residence of Britain's Prime Minister Tony Blair, Friday June
24, 2005.
The demonstration was held by the group on Friday in rejection of
Iran's elections which they believe are undemocratic and counter to the
interests of the people of Iran.
Iranians voted Friday in their first presidential runoff, the climax of
a hard-fought campaign that left the Islamic state at a crossroads
between a well-known political moderate and his ultraconservative
rival. (AP Photo)
