Iran: Lord Corbett welcomed French court's ruling to revoke restrictions on Maryam RajaviNCRI – In a letter to Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, Lord Corbett of Castle Vale, Chair of the British Parliamentary Committee for Iran Freedom, welcomed her success at the Paris Court of Appeals to get restrictions imposed on her and her movement by the French government revoked. His letter reads as follows:

"Many congratulations on your success in the French Court of Appeals last week. It is an important milestone in the Campaign which you lead with such determination and perseverance to help the people of Iran to find the freedom, justice and human rights which they demand.

"Please know that we shall pursue and increase our effort here to enable you to speak in person at a meeting in the Houses of Parliament. It will be my greatest pleasure, with colleagues of all political parties, to welcome you."
