Iranians protest before Ten Downing Street PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 21 March 2007

For the second day the Iranian Resistance sympathizers stage a protest demonstration at Ten Downing Street. Labor MP MR. Andrew Mackinley addressed the solidarity protest.

This protesters  condemned  the British government's refusal to abide by the ruling of the European Court of Justice to remove the People's Mojahedin organization of Iran (PMOI) from the terrorist list.

It is to support those who are fighting for the Iranian people and establishment of freedom and democracy in Iran, said Andrew Mackinley. He added : It is shameful that the British government refuses to abide by the European court ruling.

He stressed that The Iranian Resistance as well as residents of Ashraf City (home of the PMOI member in Iraq) enjoyed a strong support in the British parliament.

Stating that the appeasement policy has failed, the MP urged his government to put an end to the status quo and to execute the courts ruling by removing the PMOI from the list.
