By Chris Moncrieff, PA
London (Press Association) - Supporters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran today entered their eighth week of sit-in protest opposite the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Three generations of Anglo-Iranians living in the UK started their campaign in March, calling on the Government to abide by the ruling of the European Court of Justice annulling the decision of the EU to place the People's Mojahedin Organisation of Iran (PMOI) on EU terror list.

The protesters have stated that they will continue their sit-in indefinitely until their demand is met.

A petition handed in to the Foreign Office today said: "The removal of this terror tag would send a clear message to the Iranian people that the West is supporting them in their aspirations for democratic change in their country."
