Iran: Italian Parliament calls for implementation of the European Court ruling |

 NCRI- Italian Parliament called on the Government to support the full
implementation of the verdict of the European Court regarding the
People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI).
On the eve of the meeting of the Council of the Foreign Ministers of
the EU in Luxembourg, the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Italian
Parliament adopted a resolution, sponsored by all major political
parties in Italy.
The Committee has called on the government to support the verdict of
the European Court of First Instance on 12 December 2006 which had
ruled in favour of PMOI and had annulled the Council's decision about
its inclusion in the terrorist list.
In March this year, 318 members of the Italian parliament had signed a joint statement in support of PMOI and the full implementation of the verdict of the European Court and had declared that the " Council of Ministers is not above the Law".
