Italian Radio: Italian Parliament resolution urges implementation of EU Court ruling on PMOI |

NCRI- Italian Radio Network 1 reported on Thursday: at the eve of the meeting of the EU
Council of Ministers, the Foreign Relations committee of the Italian
Parliament unanimously adopted a resolution urging the Italian
government to respect the ruling of December 12th, 2006 by the EU Court
of First Instance which annulled the EU Council of Ministers’ decision
to include Peoples Mojahedin of Iran in the terrorist list.
The Italian Radio report added: The fact is that Peoples Mojahedin of Iran has handed over its weapons. They are under protection of the multi-national forces in Iraq and have not led any military operations.
Last March, 318 members of the Italian Parliament adopted a resolution in support of MEK and demanded implementation of the EU Court’s verdict . It also stated that EU Council of Ministers is not above the law. |
