Iran: Thousands of students chanted NCRI - Thousands of students from Polytechnic University (Amirkabir), Tehran and Alameh Universities protested the detention of their  fellows, Ahmad Qasaban, Ehsan Mansouri and Majid Tavakoli by the mullahs' regime. The participants demanded the replacement of Polytechnic University president, Alireza Rahaee.

All the classes were shutdown since the start of the gathering noon today. The students chanted, "Death to dictator," "Student will die but will not tolerate humiliation," "This is the last warning, student movement is ready for uprising" and "Free all political prisoners."

The security guards by beating the students prevented them from entering the campus. Rahaee called for help from the police station nearby in the Palestine Square. The State Security Forces blocked the gates in Vali-e Asr and Saied Streets.

The Iranian Resistance calls on all international human rights organizations as well as student unions to condemn the suppressive measures adopted by the regime against students and to take urgent action to free all those detained.
