Iran: Sanandaj witnessed angry protest outside the city prison PDF Print E-mail

NCRI – On Monday angry citizens gathered outside the prison in the western city of Sanandaj protesting continued imprisonment of Mahmoud Salehi, a labor activist, despite completion of his prison term.

The crowd demanded his immediate release.  Salehi suffers kidney mal-function while in prison and was due to be released from the jail on March 23.

Mahmoud Salehi was arrested on April 9, 2007 and transferred to a prison in the city of Sanandaj.
