Iran: SSF Special Units beat up and shaved a 15-year-old teenager's head Print E-mail
Tuesday, 25 March 2008

Sample ImageNCRI - On Friday, the State Security Forces (SSF) Special Units were called in by the local authorities following the initial results of the Majlis (parliament) in the western city of Kohdasht in the western province of Lorestan. Apparently, they were called in to suppress any possible protests in the region when the election results were announced.

The SSF Special Units beat up a number of local residents including a 15-year-old boy named M. Qobadi and shaved his head in the course of the event in Bahonar Street.

Shaving people's head is considered a degrading act and humiliation for the individual.
