Paris conference: Remove People's Mojahedin of Iran from terror list immediately |

NCRI, November 3 – In a conference in Paris, the result of an enquiry
into allegations against the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran by
the Washington based Human Rights Watch was presented.
The speakers in the conference unveiled mullahs’ campaign of
demonization of its main opposition group, the PMOI, and called for its
removal from the list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations. In the wake
of recent remarks by Ahmadinejad, mullahs’ new president, they found
the need for democratic change in Iran through Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s
third option more pressing than any other time.
The panel of speakers to the conference included, Bishop Gaillot,
Patrick Beaudouin, President of the French largest human rights group,
the FIDH, Catherine Legna, representative of the France Liberte,
Foundation of Danielle Mitterrand, Gilles Paruelle, a distinguished
jurist, Azadeh Zabeti, lawyer from London, Mohammad Mohaddessin, chair
of the NCRI Foreign Affairs Committee and Paulo Casaca, member of the
European Parliament, the President of the Delegation of European
Parliament to the NATO, co-chair of the Friends of a Free Iran in the
European Parliament and the head of the Euro MPs delegation to Camp
Ashraf.
In a message to the conference Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of
the National Council of Resistance of Iran, called for removal of all
restrictions imposed upon the Iranian Resistance abroad and immediate
removal of the PMOI from the terror lists in Europe and the U.S. |
