Iran: Increasing suppression by prosecuting agitator as "corrupts on earth" PDF Print E-mail

National Council of Resistance of IranNCRI - The mullahs' Majlis (parliament) passed the first step of ratifying a bill calling for prosecution of civil disturbance as "corruption on the earth." However, such bills are passed to combat the increasing popular uprisings across the country.

"The Majlis deputies in a public session examined and ratified the first step of a bill to strengthen the law in punishing civil disturbers. When finalized, all legal process within the scope of the bill would be treated expeditiously and such cases would be considered in special courts under the supervision of the judiciary chief. All such files would take precedence over others in the Supreme Court and would be reviewed within maximum 20 days," reported the semi-official news agency Fars on Wednesday.

The Iranian Resistance draws the attention of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the UN Secretary General and all other human rights organizations to increasing human rights violation in Iran and called for constant monitoring of human rights conditions in Iran.
