Congresswoman Sheila Jackson LeeNCRI – Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee in a video message to the gathering of 70,000 Iranians in Paris on June 28, 2008, congratulated the lifting of ban on Iranian Resistance in Britain.

Congresswoman Jackson Lee greeted the participants on behalf of the many members of congress who respect and admire Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-Elect of the Iranian Resistance for her freedom fighting, her peace loving, and her leadership of the people of Iran.

"It is wonderful to note that more and more countries around the world are understanding the bravery of the resistance fighters, those who fight in peace, and that resistance doesn’t equal terrorism, resistance equals freedom, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to practice democracy," she said.

"We celebrate, and we celebrate the fact that that as more nations learn about the heart of the organization movement, just as Great Britain as done, they will remove them from the list of terror.

"To all of you, may the spirit of all of us be present with you and the blessings that are necessary be upon you as you go forward today in celebration and commemoration of those who stood tall and now are with you. May I hope for the Iranian people, in the future, great days of freedom," she added.
