Iran: Executions of political prisoners as thugs PDF Print E-mail

iran-hangings150NCRI - The mullahs' regime will hang a number of political prisoners among the announced 30 death row inmates scheduled for execution on Sunday.

These political prisoners were arrested in the course of last summer's fuel uprisings in Iran. The ruling religious fascism will execute them as "thugs" on July 27.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance on Friday commented on the slaughter of 30 prisoners in a single day and said that the clerical regime was trying in vane to contain people’s anger and uprising in Iran.

She called on the UN Secretary General, the High Commissioner for Human Rights and all other international human rights organizations to prevent the Sunday's hangings and refer the mullahs’ human rights dossier to the Security Council for adoption of binding measures against the regime.
