LEGAL CAMPAIGN IN SUPPORT OF THE PMOI

Legal opinions

In detailed studies of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran and its activities as the opposition to the Iranian regime, a number of distinguished international jurists and lawyers presented their legal opinions which found the terrorist designation of the PMOI not legally justified. The following are summaries of seven such legal opinions:

Henri Labayle, Professor of Community law at Pau University and Bruno Nascimbene, Professor of Community law at Milan University

Dr. Reinhard Marx, professor of asylum law

Dr. Jörg Arnold, lawyer and private lecturer at the University of Münster and the Humboldt University in Berlin and Wolfgang Kaleck, lawyer, Berlin, Chairman of the Republican Lawyers' Association (RAV)

Kenneth Lewis, advocate, member of the Swedish Bar Association
