Iran’s Assassin Mullahs

By Elaheh Azimfar

Iran is all over the airwaves due to its meddling politics thought the Middle East and beyond.

One of the biggest red flags has been the Argentinian Prosecutor Alberto Nisman pointing the finger at Iran for masterminding the 1994 bombing of Jewish center in Buenos Aires. The case became even more sinister when he was shot dead the day he was supposed to present evidence against Iran.

It seems that since 1994 the world has been blind to the threat that Iran poses and its role in international conspiracies. Even now, the response by the west is too soft. Additionally the burden of ISIS has also allowed Iran to get away with its antics that would have otherwise drawn international condemnation.

Nisman’s investigation proved that the attack had been carried out by Iran and its Lebanese militia, Hezbollah. It is an open secret that Iran funds Hezbollah, and now also has been supporting the Houthi rebellion in Yemen. Nisman implicated seven senior Iranian officials, including former Iranian President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, a former Iranian minister of information and security, a former foreign relations minister, and Ahmad Vahidi, a former commander of the Quds force, and Iran’s defence minister from 2009 until 2013.
Hossein Abedini was seriously wounded by the death squads of the Iranian regime in Turkey in March 1990 and is one the few survivors of the terrorism of the Iranian regime. There are very few of these surviving voices from that era.

These assassinations and target killings are but one strategy that the clerics of Tehran are suing to wipe out any dissent. After the attack on Abedini, the Iranian television announced this assassination attempt in its main news bulletin and wrongly stated that Mohammad Mohaddessin, chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the NCRI, has been targeted and killed in this attack. They are so brazen in their bloodlust, that such attacks are announced in almost a celebratory tone.

Professor Kazem Rajavi, Iran’s renowned human-rights activist, was gunned down in broad daylight by the mullahs’ hit men while driving near his house in Geneva in 1990. The Swiss implicated 13 Iranian officials with passports stamped “Special Mission.”

In 1992 several Iranian Kurdish leaders were murdered in Vienna, as well as in 1989 and in Berlin in 1992. A Berlin court ruled in 1997 that a secret committee comprising supreme leader Ali Khamenei, Mr. Rafsanjani, then-Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Velayati, and Ali Fallahian had ordered the 1992 assassinations.

There as such cases upon cases and all of the victims have not just been Iranian dissenters, like Alberto Nisman. Iran has been behind the killing of 19 Americans when it plotted the bombing of Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia in 1996.

On the war front, the regime is dispatching its Quds Force terrorists in huge numbers to Iraq, Syria, and elsewhere. Somehow, the west still doesn’t fathom the numbers that have died since the Iranian Revolution, and how many more will suffer at the hands of a barbaric regime.
