Iran: Four prisoners lashed in public

File photoNCRI – The inhuman clerical regime on Friday July 11 in a horrible action and inhumane punishment during the holy month of Ramadan flogged four people in public in Shiraz.

According to the Revolutionary Guard, Ahmad Ali Goudarzi, Fars Province police commander, two of them charged with eating during Ramadan and drinking were sentenced to 80 lashes.

Two other prisoners charged with theft were sentenced to three years imprisonment, two years in exile and 74 lashes. The regime official said: “It is essential that people respect this holy month, otherwise they will be dealt with according to the law.”

Regime leaders resorting to such inhumane punishment, to contain growing protests and public outrage, is while the clerical regime’s supreme leader Khamenei, called these days “a historical twist” for this crisis-ridden regime.

Execution of these cruel punishments concurrent with the regime negotiations with the P5+1 countries, indicates that how the policy of appeasement with the criminals ruling Iran and ignoring the catastrophic situation of human rights in Iran gives them a free hand to continue this cruelty.

Forcing Iran to halt this criminal trend is a necessity for any political and economic ties with the clerical regime.
