NCRI - The Iranian regime henchmen in Ghohardasht prison in city of Karaj have transferred four prisoner prisoners from Hall 5 which holds 91 Sunni prisoners.
Death row prisoner which face imminent execution are: Jahangir Dehghani, Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Molayee and Jamshid Dehghani.
On 14 November 2010, Jamshid Dehghani, his younger brother Jahangir Dehghani, Hamed Ahmadi and Kamal Molayee were sentenced to death by mullahs judiciary in Tehran and were denied the assistance of a lawyer during their trial.
They had been convicted for vaguely-worded offences such as “enmity against God” (moharebeh) and “corruption on earth".
The Iranian regime 's Supreme Court has upheld their death sentences and their case has been transferred to the Office for the Implementation of Sentences, the official body in charge of carrying out executions.
Following the brutal execution of political prisoner Gholamreza Khosravi of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran on June 1, a group of United Nations human rights experts* expressed outrage at his execution and urged the regime to put an end to executions once and for all.
“Mr. Khosravi’s execution shows the complete disregard of the Iranian judicial system for international fair trial standards and due process guarantees,” the Special Rapporteur on the independence of judges and lawyers, Gabriela Knaul, said.
“It is beyond comprehension that Mr. Khosravi was tried twice for the same acts and with the same evidence,” said the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ahmed Shaheed. “This is not only contrary to international human rights standards but also Iran’s domestic law.”
