NCRI - The Green Party of Iran strongly condemned the February 9, 2013 attack on Camp liberty. Green Party of Iran (Hezb-e-sabz Hayeh Iran) said in a statement Martin Kobler should be held accountable for Camp Liberty attack. " Kobler’s behind-the-scene political dealings with the mullahs’ regime during his term in Iraq have always been a green light for the Quds Force and Maliki government’s elements to exert pressure on PMOI (MEK) in Ashraf"
Statement by Green Party of Iran (Hezb-e-sabz Hayeh Iran):
Through its proxies in Iraq, on February 9, 2013 the criminal Islamic Republic regime committed a new crime. The attack from close range on the residence of the members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) at Camp Liberty by 35 rockets and mortars caused the death of six residents and wounded dozens of them.
This crime was committed while last week, Martin Kobler, the United Nations official assigned for the PMOI’s situation in Iraq, had visited Camp Liberty. Kobler’s behind-the-scene political dealings with the mullahs’ regime during his term in Iraq have always been a green light for the Quds Force and Maliki government’s elements to exert pressure on the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in Ashraf and Liberty. Now considering the blatant attack by the Iranian regime and Maliki government against Liberty, Martin Kobler must be the principle party holding accountable for the attack.
The Green Party of Iran strongly condemns this barbaric crime and calls on all freedom-loving people and genuine forces opposing the Iranian regime to have their voices of protest heard by everyone.
