Iran: 2 hanged, 5 sentenced to execution in one week |

 A 17-year-old boy will be hanged in Isfahan on Saturday morning
The state-run Iran daily reported today that a father and his
17-year-old son have been sentenced to death. Moussa Ali-Mohammadi will
be hanged in public in Isfahan, central Iran, on Saturday, and his
17-year-old Rasoul will be simultaneously hanged in Isfahan prison.
Both prisoners will receive 74 lashes before being hanged.
The state-run daily Hambastegi reported today that two men, identified
as Hatam Jarideh Kish, 38, and Ali Fath Hemati, 50, were hanged in
prison in Yasooj, southwest Iran. Their executions took place on Monday
Iran daily wrote yesterday that a man called Abdollah would be hanged
in public in Tehran next week. The execution will take place using a
crane.
Two young prisoners, aged 18 and 22, will soon be publicly hanged in
Kerman, southern Iran. Iran daily said in its April 11 issue reported
that the sentence was handed down by Judge Amiri Tabar.
In the past three weeks state-run press have reported 18 counts of public hangings or execution sentences in Iran.
The mullahs' regime, which has the highest record of political
executions in the world, does not as a rule announce the executions of
political prisoners.
