NCRI - The lives of at least 32 prisoners on death row who have been subjected to beatings and torture in a Tehran prison are in danger and there is fear of their execution.
The prisoners have been transferred to Tehran-e Bozorg (Laerger Tehran) Prison in the Hassan Abad district of the capital city from the Section 2 of Ghezel Hessar prison in the city of Karaj during the past few days.
With total of 12,282 civilian killed and another 23,126 injured in Iraq, the year 2014 becomes the deadliest since 2006 and 2007, the United Nations said Friday.
"Yet again, the Iraqi ordinary citizen continues to suffer from violence and terrorism," Nickolay Mladenov, the UN secretary- general's special representative and head of UNAMI, said in a press release.
NCRI - The bodies of two young Afghans, killed while fighting for the Syrian dictator, were buried last week in northern Iran.
The state-run Tasnim News Agency identified the two as Mohammad Mahdi Hosseini and Mostafa Karimi. They were buried on December 26 in the city of Semnan.

NCRI - For the fourth consecutive week, Iraqi forces prevented entry of gasoline to Camp Liberty. Previously, in the months of August, September and October, entry of gasoline to the camp was also blocked for many weeks.
The gasoline purchased by the residents is wholly consumed by vehicles used for public services or transport of patients and the injured inside the camp.

In 2009, the Iranian people poured to the streets in cities across the country to protest widespread fraud in the presidential elections. The protests quickly turned into an uprising with people calling for the downfall of the clerical regime. They chanted anti-regime slogans such as “Down with Khamenei”, “Down with the principal of Velayat-e faqih [absolute rule of clergy]”. But the peaceful protests were suppressed with utmost cruelty.
NCRI - On the anniversary of the 2009 anti-regime protests in Iran, a number of state-run media outlets in Iran have intensified a wave of attacks against the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and the National Council of Resistance of Iran, criticizing their role in the protests.
The main state-run TV channel aired a speech that Mrs Maryam Rajavi, the NCRI’s president-elect, had made before the protest began. In her speech she revealed the mullahs’ plans to rig elections.
NCRI - The clerical regime in Iran secretly executed four more prisoners this week in the cities of Noshahr and Shiraz.
Three prisoners were hanged early morning on Tuesday in Adelabad prison in city of Shiraz. At least one prisoner had been sentenced to death for drug-related crimes.

An act approved by the United States Congress and Senate calling for the protection and security of the residents of Camp Liberty in Iraq has been signed by President Barack Obama.
The government spending bill signed into law on December 16 calls on the US government to demand congressional committee reports detailing the steps taken to address the plight of and resettlement needs of Iranian dissidents at Camp Liberty.
