Threat to expedite execution of Iranian hunger strikers ‘deplorable’, Amnesty says

Iran’s threat to expedite the execution of ten men in retaliation for going on hunger strike has been condemned as 'deplorable' by Amnesty International.

One of the condemned was named as Saman Naseem, a Kurd who was a minor when he was arrested for talking part in a gun battle during which a member of the Iran’s Revolutionary Guards were killed.

Video: Acid attacks and stabbings continue in Iran

NCRI - The spate of acid attacks on young women and the stabbing of youths by regime-backed thugs is continuing across Iran.

Men riding on motorcycles stabbed a female and a male youth in the back in two separate incidents in Tehran on Monday, December 15.

Iranian regime lies to cover up background of mullah behind hostage taking in Australia

NCRI - The Iranian Resistance strongly condemns the criminal hostage-taking of innocent civilians in Sidney, Australia, and expresses its solidarity with the victims’ families.

The hostage-taker, mullah Haron Monis, when arrived many years ago in Australia from Iran, had declared that he had been an advisor to the Iranian regime’s Minister of Intelligence.The cleric who used the name Manteghi Boroujerdi in Iran, had also declared he knew many secrets of the regime and had transferred much information out of Iran.

Iran: Female political prisoner transferred to harsh condition prison

NCRI - The authorities in Tehran’s Evin prison have transferred a female political prisoner to a prison known for its life-threatening conditions after she protested the appalling conditions at Evin’s women’s section.

Mrs. Hakimeh Shekari has been among the Mothers of Laleh Park (Mourning Mothers), a group of Iranian women whose spouses or children were killed by government agents and held protests in Laleh Park in Tehran demanding accountability for the death, arrests and disappearances of their children.

Iranian regime may already be cheating West on nuclear weapons, U.S. expert warns

The Iranian regime must allow the United Nations weapons inspectors into the country as part of any deal on the regime's nuclear weapons program, William Tobey wrote on Foreign Policy.

William Tobey, a senior fellow at Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, said current evidence suggested Iran was already cheating the West by continuing to try to build a nuclear bomb.

Lebanon rejects Iranian regime military aid

The government of Lebanon has rejected an offer of military aid from Iran, the Iranian regime’s Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan said on Tuesday.

The state-run Mehr News Agency quoted Dehghan as saying: "Iran was ready to send military equipment to Lebanon and was waiting for the Lebanese government’s approval, but they rejected the offer."
