Shiite militia backed by the Iranian regime are more dangerous than Sunni extremists waging terror in the Middle East, experts and US officials have warned.

The United States should beware of the perils of collaborating with Tehran in the fight against the Islamic State terror group, regional academics said.

U.S. and U.K. close Yemen embassies

The United States and Britain abruptly closed their embassies in Yemen on Wednesday amid deteriorating security conditions after the takeover of the country by Iranian-linked rebels.

Jen Psaki, a spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State in Washington, said late Tuesday: "The Department of State has decided to suspend our embassy operations and our embassy staff have been temporarily relocated out of Sana'a."

Obama must not appease Iran with nuclear deal, WSJ warns

Speaking in Isfahan on Friday, Ali Jannati said: “Those political currents that to seek to weaken and destroy the government offer incorrect information to religious scholars and members of parliament and distort the issue.”

Iran regime attempt to avert EU sanctions fails in UK court

A legal attempt by the Iranian regime to stop the European Union from reimposing sanctions on it over its nuclear programme has failed in a London court.

London’s High Court Judge Nicholas Green said on Monday that EU governments are due to re-include National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC) on a blacklist of people and entities targeted by the bloc's sanctions.
