Senior IRGC Commander: In anti-regime protests in Iran 830 suffered rupture of spinal cord

NCRI – A senior commander of Iranian regime’s revolutionary guards disclosed that during the anti-government uprisings in 2009 “over 830 people suffered rupture of the spinal cord”.

General Hossein Hamedani, then commander of IRGC force tasked to crack down on demonstrations in the capital Tehran disclosed this matter on February 7 in an interview with Fars News Agency, the IRGC mouthpiece.

IRAN: Another senior IRGC commander killed in Iraq

NCRI – According to state-run media in Iran, Reza Hosseini Moqaddam, a senior commander of the Iranian regime’s revolutionary guards (IRGC) was killed in Iraq in the city of Samara on Saturday, February 7. It was only 6 weeks ago that IRGC Brigadier General Hamid Taqavi was killed in this same region.

Reports on senior commanders getting killed in Iraq indicate that many IRGC or Basij forces are killed in Iraq but the news is suppressed by the mullahs’ regime.

Iraqi government bars entry of water purification items to Camp Liberty

As the anti-human siege on Camp Liberty, incongruent with the established routine of the camp, it is several days now that the Iraqi forces are barring entry of essential items for water purification and lubricants for the generators that provide camp’s electricity.

Depriving the camp from these basic items causes serious problems in the supply of drinking water and electricity to the camp. Numerous referrals by the residents and their letters to UNAMI representatives to resolve this problem have gotten nowhere in the past days.

NCRI - Iranian opposition activists in Camp Liberty were disarmed by the US but are under threat of attack and have a right to self-defense, the president of the International Committee in Search of Justice has demanded.

Alejo Vidal-Quadras, the president of prominent Non-Governmental Organization told a conference in Paris: "The residents of Camp Liberty and Camp Ashraf have right to self-defense.

Iranian regime a greater threat than ISIS

The Iranian regime’s 'medieval mentality', quest for a nuclear bomb and export of terrorism makes it more dangerous than Islamic State, Ali Safavi, member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran said.

The regime should also be evicted from Iraq, Syria and Lebanon and its human rights record brought before the United Nations human rights council, he said.
