Iraq: 23rd Iranian member of PMOI passes away due to medical siege on Camp Liberty

NCRI - At 6:30 this morning of January 13, 2015, Ms. Mahin Afzali suffered a heart attack and subsequently lost her life at the Iraqi clinic in Camp Liberty due to cardiac arrest.

Ms. Afzali, born in 1950, was an official of the People’s Mojaheidn Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) with 36 years of struggle against the religious dictatorship ruling Iran. She who had been suffering from heart ailment for a long time became the 23rd patient losing her life due to the anti-human blockade.

Iranian Mullahs threaten France: Charlie Hebdo will happen again

Putting the onus on others is the special knack the mullahs ruling Iran have. The Iranian people though are well familiar with these deceptions.

The mullahs have executed 120,000 political dissidents, but to escape accountability, they point the finger at the opposition and place the blame on the opposition itself.

Time and again they have massacred members of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the main opposition to the Iranian government, through their proxy government in Iraq. However, they claim that the massacres have been internal purges within the opposition.

Iran: Three more prisoners to be hanged in Kerman

The authorities in the main prison in the southern city of Kerman have transferred three men to isolation to await their execution on Sunday.

The three prisoners who have been sentenced to death allegedly for drug related offences have been identified as Karim Alizehi, Hossan Rahimyar, and Ghader Alizehi.

NCRI - According to pictures and reports from inside the Iranian regime that have reached the Resistance, the plunder of property and vehicles of PMOI in Ashraf by Iraq's National Security organ and the militias under the command of Hadi al-Ameri, Commander of Iraqi forces in Diyala Province, and Iraqi Transportation Minister under Nouri al-Maliki, that have currently occupied Camp Ashraf, continues.

Iran - Decline in oil revenues, rising inflation and unemployment

NCRI - While the downward trend in oil prices on the world markets continues, experts unanimously say that this will aggravate the economic crisis in Iran. The main consequences of this crisis are: rising inflation rising, unemployment and weakening of the Iranian rial.

Last year, the price of crude oil on world markets exceeded $100 a barrel. Oil prices began to drop last summer, and since the beginning of January this year it fell below the level of 50 dollars per barrel.The government Hassan Rouhani planned the budget for the next Iranian year (March 2015-March 2016) which is based on a forecast of oil prices of 72 dollars a barrel.
