Iran: Fuel prices to increase 10 percent

The government of Hassan Rouhani is considering some 10% increase in fuel prices in the coming Iranian New Year begging March 2015.

A member of the Planning and Budget Committee in the regime’s parliament said on Sunday that to reach the goals stated in the targeted subsidy plan a 10% increase in price of energy carriers is being considered.

Iran's rulers must face justice for human rights crimes, British lawmaker demands

Iran ruling mullahs are among the world's worst violators of human rights and must be held accountable for their crimes, member of the British Parliament David Jones has demanded.

There have been more than 1,000 executions under so-called moderate president Hassan Rouhani and a spate of violent attacks against 'improperly veiled' women, Mr Jones said.

Iran's overcrowded prisons leave inmates ‘sleeping on floor’, official admits

NCRI - At least 600,000 Iranians are sent to prison every year leaving many inmates without beds to sleep in, the regime's prisons' chief has admitted.

Iran's Prisons Organization director general Asghar Jahangir said on Sunday: "The capacity of prisons is 80,000 to 118,000. But there are currently 220,000 people being held."

Hollande: France remains firm on Iran giving up nuclear weapon

French President Francois Hollande said on Monday his country would stand firm on its demand that the Iranian regime vow not to pursue nuclear weapons ahead of fresh international negotiations.

Hollande said on France Inter radio: "If there is no clear statement from Iran on giving up nuclear weapons, there will be no agreement,"

Iran: Call to save political prisoner Ali Moezi

NCRI - The Iranian resistance calls on the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and all human rights defenders to take urgent action to save the life of political prisoner Ali Moezi.

Mr. Moezi was transferred on Saturday January 3, by the clerical regime's henchmen from Ghezel Hessar Prison to an unknown location.
