Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, earlier this week wrote a commentary for Forbes exposing the un-Islamic nature of Islamic fundamentalists who massacre innoncent people in the name of religion.
Mrs. Rajavi pointed out that last week, billions of Muslims around the world celebrated Eid al-Fitr, which marks the joyous end of the holy month of Ramadan. To practicing Muslims of all stripes, Ramadan is a season of compassion, self-betterment and community, values wholly denigrated by the persistence of terrorism and tyranny under the name of Islam.
On Saturday evening, July 30, 2016, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, met with Mr. Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Palestinian Authority, and they discussed the crises in the region.
President Mahmoud Abbas, at the meeting, reiterated the need to combat fundamentalism and terrorism in the region and informed Mrs. Rajavi of the latest developments in the Middle East, in particular regarding Palestine and France's initiative.

The time has come for the UN to adopt a resolution, condemning this crime. The international community must prosecute Iran's ruling mullahs
MARYAM RAJAVI: IRANIAN REGIME'S LEADERS MUST BE PROSECUTED FOR THE 1988 MASSACRE- SPEECH AT THE SEMINAR OF IRANIAN COMMUNITIES IN EUROPE- SEPTEMBER 3, 2016
I call on my fellow countrymen and women to rise up in support and solidarity to expand the movement to obtain justice.
Expand the movement to bring justice to the victims of the 1988 massacre
Today, the people of Iran have targeted the ruling regime with a tide of protest and detestation in a relentless movement of seeking justice.
Dear friends and supporters of the Iranian Resistance,
Honorable German dignitaries defending freedom and democracy for Iran,
Honorable teachers and professors,
Champions of culture and knowledge,
Honorable women and men who have risen to defend the truth in the face of the injustices done by fundamentalism, ignorance, coercion and abuse of religion, and whose hearts are filled with hope for Iran's freedom.
On the World Day against the Death Penalty, I hail all the brave men and women who were executed by Iran's ruling religious dictatorship in the battle for freedom.
More than any other party, the World Day Against the Death Penalty targets the Iranian regime that has so far executed 120,000 of Iran's children, including the 30,000 political prisoners who were serving their prison sentences, but were hanged just for their political beliefs. According to Khomeini's fatwa, any prisoner who continued to adhere to the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran, had to be executed.
NCRI- The Iranian Resistance's President-elect Maryam Rajavi strongly condemned the terrorist attack at Christmas on innocent people in Berlin.
Mrs. Rajavi extended the sympathies and condolences of the Iranian people and Resistance to Chancellor Angela Merkel, the people of Germany and especially the families of the victims. She wished them patience and speedy recovery for the wounded.
