Maryam Rajavi: The Iranian nation hears your anthems and your cries for freedom
Friday, August 30, 2019, a conference was held at Paris District 1 City Hall entitled, “Iran: Massacred Human Rights, 31st anniversary of the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in 1988.”
In a video message to Mr. Jean Francois Legaret, Mayor of the First District of Paris, and friends of the Iranian Resistance, Maryam Rajavi said:
The time has come for the international community to end three decades of impunity for the clerical regime’s leaders in accounting for their crimes.
The dossier of human rights violations in Iran, particularly the massacre in 1988, must be referred to the UN Security Council.
Khamenei and other leaders of the Iranian regime must face justice for committing crimes against humanity.
The United Nations must launch an international mission to investigate the 1988 massacre in Iran.
And the world must recognize the Iranian people’s right to resist and fight for the overthrow of the ruling religious fascism.

Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the Iranian Resistance held a rally in Stockholm, Sweden on July 20, 2019. In a video message addressed to the participants and Nordic countries, Maryam Rajavi said:
By displaying your remarkable determination and resolve, and the wide scope and dynamism of this movement which extends from resistance units in cities across Iran to the grand gatherings and rallies in various countries of the world, you have demonstrated the Iranian nation’s grim will for the overthrow of the mullahs’ dictatorship.
I urge Nordic countries, all the Europe, and the world to recognize the right of the people of Iran for resistance to overthrow the clerical regime and establish democracy and popular sovereignty.
