Massive gathering of Iranians in Paris in solidarity with the Iranian people?s uprising

against the religious dictatorship in its entirety

NCRI – The largest gathering of exiled Iranians will take place this afternoon in Paris. The massive rally will be in solidarity with the Iranian people’s uprising against the religious dictatorship in its entirety, which has entered its eighth day.

According to organizers, participants are arriving at the location (northern Paris suburb of Villepinte) using 1,000 buses, 500 vans, and thousands of personal vehicles from across Europe.

In addition, thousands of Iranians are joining them from the US, Canada, Australia and Scandinavian countries by plane.

Representatives of 14 parliamentary committees from various European countries, the international committee “In Search of Justice,” which is comprised of 2,000 parliamentarians on both sides of the Atlantic, and delegations from a number of Middle Eastern countries will take part in the gathering to declare support for the people of Iran.

Participants in the rally will also express solidarity with Ashraf City residents, members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), and will urge the Iraqi government to acknowledge their rights as protected persons under the Fourth Geneva Convention.

The meeting takes place in the midst of the Iranian people’s continued uprising against the clerical regime in its entirety, insisting on their demand to change the regime, despite the fact that the religious dictatorship has slain at least 43 people, while injuring hundreds and arresting thousands more.
