Suppressive forces clashed with people in Tehran streetsNationwide uprising in Iran – Statement 94

NCRI – Suppressive forces clashed with people on streets of Amir-Abad and Fatemi in Tehran on Thursday, on the tenth anniversary of July 9 uprising and the 27th day of the current nationwide uprising in Iran.

Peaceful demonstrators were attacked by the Revolutionary Guards wearing civilian clothes, the State Security Forces and plainclothes agents. They fired in the air and used tear gas in their attacks wounding dozens and arresting many more. Riding on motorcycles, the guards ran over protestors and seriously injured a number of people.
