NCRI – Students at Tehran University Technical Department staged a gathering in protest to a visit to the department by Safar Harandi, Deputy Commander of the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guards Corps, on Monday, October 19.

Students chanted “Murderer go out” and threw shoes at him. Their protests and anti-regime slogans went on for hours. Harandi is one of the key figures in suppression of opponents of the clerical regime.

On the same day, students at Tehran’s Polytechnic University protested against mullahs’ regime delegation visiting the university. They chanted “Death to dictator” and “Bassiji get lost.” The delegation comprised of the Revolutionary Guard Talaii, former commander of the State Security Forces (SSF), and two parliament deputies Kouchakzadeh and Kavakebian. They had gone to the University for a meeting with suppressive elements there.

Students from Polytechnic University also exposed three days earlier a closed door session attended by Revolutionary Guard Zarghami, head of the mullahs’ TV, Kavakebian and Bassiji and intelligence agents, and organized a protest rally against it.
