NCRI-50Twitter Promptly Shuts Down the Account

Once again, in a despicable and ludicrous ploy, the clerical regime’s cyber army tried to forge a Twitter account, this time in the name of Ms. Soona Samsami, the Representative in the United States for the National Council of Resistance of Iran. The fake account also had a fake announcement, calling on Iranians to gather outside the White House! Hastily or out of ignorance, the regime’s Intelligence agents in Tehran, who set up the fake account, introduced Ms. Samsami as the representative of the Supreme Council of Resistance of Iran. In the fake statement, they urged Iranians to go to Capitol Hill instead of the White House! (see the middle image)

Fake-tweeter-accountTwitter shut down the regime’s fake account which impersonated Ms. Samsami after being informed by an NCRI official.

Parallel with this Intelligence Ministry operation, in a blatant lie that served the interests of the religious fascism ruling Iran, Ata’ollah Mohajerani, regime’s former Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and Mansour Farhang, claimed that the supporters of the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK/PMOI) were protesting in front of the U.S. Congress with their flag on Wednesday (January 7, 2021).

Previously, and while a Minister during Mohammad Khatami’s presidency, Mohajerani, had claimed falsely that the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq are hidden in the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK) camps (The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran’s statement – December 22, 1998).

Mansour Farhang worked with the NCRI office in the United States in 1982 and vigorously defended the armed resistance, but later changed color.

It is worthy of note that on October 28, 2020, Treadstone-71 Cyber Security Company published an investigative report on the joint operation of the Revolutionary Guards and the clerical regime’s Ministry of Intelligence and their mercenaries during the Free Iran Global Summit in July 2020, exposing the regime’s cyber operations against the Iranian Resistance.
