FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

June 20, 2013 (Paris, France) – The tenth annual Conference for Democratic Change in Iran, Onward to Freedom, will be hosted on June 22, 2013 in Paris, France. The conference is the largest political event of the Iranian people in opposition to the ruling religious dictatorship in Iran. It will feature scores of world leaders and elected officials in a rejection of the Mullah’s recent election and call for regime change by Iranian people and the organized opposition.

Rudy Giuliani, former Mayor of New York City, John Bolton, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Tom Ridge, former Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and more than 100 other international policy influencers are expected to attend.

Sponsored by human rights organizations and parliamentary committees around the world, the annual conference has been held in late June since 2004 and commemorates the 1981 uprising against then Ayatollah Khomeini and his clerical regime.

In cooperation with the Iranian Resistance movement, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and its popular leader Maryam Rajavi, Onward to Freedom will address prospects for democratic change in Iran and the impact of recent elections on peace in the Middle East.
