NCRI - In a press conference in Brussels on March 28, senior members of the European Parliament from different political groups condemned British and French insistence to defy the ruling of the European Communities' Court annulling terrorist designation of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran. By exposing their efforts, they called for immediate implementation of the court ruling and removal of the PMOI from the terror list.

NCRI - The Iranian Resistance welcomes the decision by the British government to freeze "bilateral business" with the Iranian regime but considers it insufficient. Severing all ties with the mullahs' regime and the imposition of comprehensive sanctions would be the only effective policy.

During a summit of EU heads of states in Brussels, thirty thousand Iranians living in exile strongly condemned the Council of Ministers' defiance of a ruling by the Court of First Instance of the European Communities annulling terrorist designation of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI). They called on the heads of EU states to comply with the court ruling.
NCRI - Invited by the Association of the Iranian Lawyers in Exile, Monday, a number of dignitaries in politics and law attending an international conference, discussed the ruling by the European Court and also the European Council's reaction to the ruling.

Lord Slynn of Hadley, former judge at the European Court of Justice and a former judge at Britain's High Court, Dr. Henry Labayle Professor at law, Mrs. Gisella Garbagnati, Lawyer from Italy, Mr.'s David Vaughn, Jean-Pierre Spitzer and William Bourdon were some of the personalities attending the conference.

NCRI - Fifty days subsequent to the clear verdict by the European Communities' Court of the First Instance (CFI) issued on December 12, 2006 which annulled the Council of Ministers' decision on the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) in the framework of combating terrorism issued on December 21, 2005.

NCRI - In separate rulings today, the Paris Court of Appeals revoked all judicial restrictions placed on Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, and all those arrested on June 17, 2003. The rulings came despite the fact that the investigative magistrates were insisting on continuing the restrictions on bogus charges.
