NCRI - Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, described the latest report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on the Iranian regime as a warning to the international community that underscores the need to adopt a firm international policy against the regime. She added: imposition of comprehensive sanctions against the regime is the essential first step and regime change is the ultimate solution to rid the world of the fundamentalists armed with Atom Bomb.
NCRI - Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, welcomed new complementary sanctions by the European Union against the Iranian regime.
She said that although these sanctions are crucial to prevent the regime from acquiring nuclear weapons, but, it is long way away from a comprehensive and effective sanction to include complete oil, trade, technological and political boycott of the regime.

She described the move as an imperative and significant step to prevent the medieval regime from obtaining nuclear weapons. She expressed hope that the US government would immediately implement the resolution.

She said that the adoption of the sanction resolution, after two years of fruitless talks, made it abundantly clear that negotiations would only provide the regime with time and opportunity to complete its nuclear projects.
