Maryam Rajavi: With the Death of Rafsanjani One of the Two Pillars of the Ruling Theocracy Collapses
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), said:
With the death of Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, one of the two pillars and key to the equilibrium of the religious fascism ruling Iran has collapsed and the regime in its entirety is approaching overthrow.
The Iranian Resistance's President-elect Maryam Rajavi said, "It is a national catastrophe with rare precedent in Iran's history, when the poor and drug addicts take shelter in cemeteries around the capital."
She blamed the ruling clerical regime and the criminal, unscrupulous mullahs for this tragedy and added, "This news provoked vast social outrage, indicating the Iranian people's hatred of a regime that every hour of its rule is tantamount to the devastation of numerous people and to further destruction and dissipation of the country."

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, hailed the steadfast people of the besieged city of Aleppo, describing the massacre of the its innocent people a war crime and a crime against humanity.
Washington, D.C. - In a briefing held at the Senate Kennedy Caucus Room, senior senators and former national security officials condemned the flagrant violations of human rights in Iran and the clerical regime's meddling in the region.
They stressed on the need to adopt a firm policy on the religious dictatorship ruling Iran.
