MEP Heinz Becker met with Maryam Rajavi on Wednesday, November 16, 2016. Mr. Becker is from the European People's Party (EPP), the largest political group in the European Parliament, and head of the Austrian Union Supporting the Retirees, and the union's vice president in Europe.
Maryam Rajavi sent a message to a meeting held on November 17, 2016 at the House of Commons to discuss UK policy on Iran and the gross violations of human rights in that country. Text of the message follows:
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, strongly condemned targeting Mecca with rockets that was carried out on October 29 from inside Yemen, under the Quds Force supervision, and upon the orders of Khamenei. She described this aggression as declaration of war to all Muslims around the world. She demanded expulsion of this anti-human and anti-Islamic regime from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and asked the Islamic states to cut off their relations with this regime.

In an address to a meeting at the Paris District 2 City Hall, the Iranian Resistance's President-elect Maryam Rajavi called for an international probe into the 1988 massacre of political prisoners in Iran and bringing its perpetrators to justice, those who presently hold senior political, judicial and intelligence posts in the clerical regime.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, described the audio recording of a meeting between Mr. Montazeri, then successor to Khomeini, and those responsible for the mass executions of 30,000 political prisoners in 1988 as a historical document.
Maryam Rajavi called the execution of a large number of Sunni prisoners in Gohardasht Prison, "an appalling crime against humanity." The Iranian Resistance's President-elect extended her sincere condolences to the families of the victims, the Sunni community and all the people of Iran. She called on Iranian youths to stage protests against such barbaric crimes and to rise up in support of and in solidarity with the families of the victims.
