Amid a surge in hangings, a prisoner is executed publicly in Yasuj, and another dies from shock upon hearing his death sentence.

Caught in a vortex of deadly crises, the regime’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, sends more prisoners to the gallows each day to prevent an explosion of public anger. At least 20 prisoners were executed on Sunday, November 9, and another 10 on Monday, November 10. This means that in these two days, the killing machine of the Velayat-e Faqih system has claimed a victim every one and a half hours on average.

The prisoners executed on Sunday include: Mohammad Goudarzi in Borujerd, Arjang Nabavi in Maragheh, Farid Emami and another prisoner in Khaf, Khorasan Razavi, Hassan Hajizadeh, 30, in Semnan, Nima Omidi in Bam, Murad Beig Torki in Kashan, Ahmad Rastin and Abdullah Tajik in Taybad, and Habib Namazi in Karaj Central Prison, as well as four prisoners in Qom named Nasser Molavali, 28, Ali Ataei, 37, Muradali Ganji, 33, and a prisoner named Biranvand. The names of six other prisoners were provided in a previous statement.

The victims on Monday, November 10, include: Nima Hemmati in Borazjan, Javad Naeimi in Semnan, Abbas Souri in Dorud, one prisoner in Neyshabur, Saeed Shateri and another prisoner in Isfahan, and four prisoners in Birjand named Nourkhoda Ahmadi, Abdolkarim Sasouli (from our Baluchi compatriots), and two other prisoners.

On Tuesday, a number of prisoners were also executed, with six cases reported by noon today. This morning, one prisoner, Mahmoud Ansari, was executed in a public display of savagery and barbarism in Yasuj. Other victims hanged were Sasan Mehrani in Sanandaj, Shah-Hossein Farhadi and two other prisoners in Yazd, and Hassan Kalami in Shiraz.

In another tragedy on Monday, November 10, a 56-year-old prisoner named Aziz Abeiat, one of our Arab compatriots in Ahvaz’s Sepidar Prison, suffered a fatal heart attack and died after hearing his death sentence had been upheld.
