  • Deputy Health Minister: COVID-19 hospitalization has increased in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Semnan, South Khorasan, Central Province, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, West Azerbaijan, Isfahan, Alborz, Tehran, Khorasan Razavi, Fars, Qazvin, Qom and Lorestan. (IRNA news agency, March 28, 2021)
  • Director of Lavasani Hospital in Tehran: The number of COVID-19 hospital admissions will increase in the next 3 weeks. We may have another episode of outbreak. So far, only 15% of hospital staff have been vaccinated. (ILNA news agency, March 29, 2021)

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Monday, March 29, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 526 cities had exceeded 239,600. The number of victims in Tehran is 55,511, East Azerbaijan 9,468, Isfahan 15,580, Khorasan Razavi 15,535, Khuzestan 13,954, Mazandaran 10,210, Alborz 5,943, Kermanshah 4,799, Yazd 4,327, Kurdistan 4,142, Bushehr 2,429, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 1,930, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 1,829.
